Content Image We remember our son, husband, friend and fellow lifeguard Eugene Glebov. The waters and sand of Brighton Beach were in his veins long before he became a New York City Lifeguard. Gene came to the beach as a fierce swimmer who worked hard

at becoming a good lifeguard. He loved to run, swim, dive and spear fish. We all got to share in his catches from the sea.

Gene, always had a warm smile to share and a good laugh to be heard. Gentle and kind best describe how he interacted with us. A beautiful September summer day summoned Eugene to the sea like so many days before. He entered the ocean ready for his dive. Gene, did not return to us that day. Remember the warm summer sun on our face as that is Gene smiling upon us. Embrace the summer thunder as his laugh. He will always be our lifeguard in heaven forever watching over us!

Eugene is survived by his parents, brother and wife Polina. Those wishing to make a donation to help the family may do so by clicking the button bellow.
